Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Requires the Department of Public Health to establish women's health clinics throughout the State to provide affordable health care for women. Requires the services provided at the women's health clinic to be offered at an affordable price and to include specified services, including women's health examinations, pregnancy confirmation, prenatal care, labor and delivery services, postpartum care, family planning examinations and birth control services, and care for sexually transmitted diseases and infections.

2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and |
5 | | Duties Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is |
6 | | amended by adding Section 2310-431 as follows: |
7 | | (20 ILCS 2310/2310-431 new) |
8 | | Sec. 2310-431. Women's health clinics. The Department |
9 | | shall establish women's health clinics throughout the State to |
10 | | provide affordable health care for women. The services provided |
11 | | at the women's health clinics shall be offered at an affordable |
12 | | price and shall include, but not be limited to, the following: |
13 | | (1) annual women's health examinations, including Pap |
14 | | tests and breast examinations; |
15 | | (2) pregnancy confirmation services; |
16 | | (3) prenatal care, including ultrasound examinations; |
17 | | (4) labor and delivery services provided by an |
18 | | obstetrician; |
19 | | (5) postpartum care and support; |
20 | | (6) family planning examinations and birth control |
21 | | services; |
22 | | (7) examinations, care, and prescriptions for sexually |
23 | | transmitted diseases and infections; |
