Synopsis As Introduced Contains a preamble concerning COVID-19, the requirements of the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act and the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Program Act regarding cultivation center agents including background checks by the Illinois State Police and the approval of applications and the issuance of identification cards by the Department of Agriculture, and the delays that the outbreak of COVID-19 has caused to these processes. Suspends the requirement under both Acts that an applicant must have completed background check in order to apply for a cultivation center agent identification card under certain circumstances. Suspends the requirement under both Acts that a cultivation center agent must keep a Department of Agriculture-issued agent identification card visible at all times while working in a cultivation center. Suspends the time periods under both Acts within which the Department of Agriculture must approve or deny applications, and must issue cultivation center agent identification cards. Contains provisions regarding severability.
