Synopsis As Introduced Establishes the Governor's Opioid Overdose Prevention and Recovery Steering Committee to guide the work of the Illinois Opioid Crisis Response Advisory Council, serve as the liaison between its stakeholders and the Governor's Office, and oversee the implementation of the Statewide Opioid Action Plan. Sets forth the duties and composition of the Steering Committee. Contains provisions regarding: involvement of State agencies; reporting; transparency; savings; prior executive orders; dissolution of the Steering Committee; severability; and other matters. Effective immediately.
