SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Eugene Von Kaenel of Elgin, who passed 
4away on August 31, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Eugene Von Kaenel was born in Oak Park to Henry 
6and Marie Von Kaenel on October 24, 1930; he served in the 
7United States Army during the Korean War and married Lenore on 
8November 12, 1955; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Eugene Von Kaenel was co-owner of the LeeMar 
10Printing Company in Crystal Lake for many years; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Eugene Von Kaenel was a member of St. Peter 
12Lutheran Church in North Plato; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Eugene Von Kaenel was preceded in death by his 
14parents and his brother, Hank Von Kaenel; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Eugene Von Kaenel is survived by  his wife, Lenore; 
16his children, Gayle (Carey) Schuett, Tracy (Scott Klopp) Von 
17Kaenel, and Andrew (Shannon) Von Kaenel; and his grandchildren, 
18Cody, Halle, Lucas, and Dalton; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Eugene Von Kaenel, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Eugene Von Kaenel as an expression 
7of our deepest sympathy.
