SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Dennis N. Dalby of McHenry, who passed 
4away on August 27, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dennis Dalby was born in Illinois to Nels and 
6Dorothy (Seyller) Dalby on August 25, 1946; he  graduated from 
7McHenry High School in 1964 and studied engineering at McHenry 
8County College; as a young man, he was employed by Wort's 
9Sinclair in McHenry; he married Barbara J. LaChel in Lake 
10Geneva on September 8, 2001; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Dennis Dalby was employed by Barco Manufacturing 
12Company in Barrington, which later was acquired by the Aeroquip 
13Corporation; he was a former member of the McHenry Township 
14Fire Protection District; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Dennis Dalby's favorite pastimes included 
16restoring his '57 Chevy and attending car shows; he also 
17enjoyed camping with his family and photography; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Dennis Dalby was preceded in death by his parents; 
19and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Dennis Dalby is survived by his wife of nearly 16

1years, Barbara; his daughters, Karla (Richard) Roman and Denise 
2(Frank) Huebner; his grandchildren, Richard, Raea, and Keefer; 
3his sisters, Rebecca (Ken) Loeffel and Lori (Brad) Slipiec; and 
4his brother, Neil (Marsha) Dalby; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Dennis N. Dalby, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
9further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to  the family of  Dennis Dalby as an expression of our 
12deepest sympathy.
