SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Theodore D. Schweder of McHenry, who
4passed away on January 30, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Theodore Schweder was born to Daniel E. and
6Aurelia M. (Breivogel) Schweder on July 24, 1935; he married
7Shirley Diedrichs at Our Lady of Grace in Chicago on November
824, 1956; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Theodore Schweder was a longtime employee of the
10Temple Steel Company; he opened his own steel lamination
11business, PSW Industries, and invested in many McHenry real
12estate ventures, including retail establishments and apartment
13complexes; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Theodore Schweder enjoyed reading, playing golf,
15and "doing lunch" with his family and friends; he helped lead
16many parish fundraisers at St. Patrick Catholic Church,
17including Town and Country and Montini Bingo; he also was a Cub
18Scout Leader of Pack 351; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Theodore Schweder was preceded in death by his
20parents; his son, Teddy Schweder Jr.; and his brother, Robert
21E. Schweder; and

1    WHEREAS, Theodore Schweder is survived by his wife of 60
2years, Shirley; his children, Gary (Cynthia) Schweder, Paul
3Schweder (Karin Rada), James (Brenda) Schweder, and Lori (Mike)
4Mazrin; his grandchildren, Gary (Emily) Schweder, Jake
5(Natosha) Schweder, Sarah (Kyle) Kanzler, Nicki (Rafael)
6Perez, Joshua Mazrin, Teddy Mazrin, Michael Mazrin, James
7Schweder, and Liam Schweder; his great-grandchildren, Bella,
8Maddy, and Lianna Perez, Aurelia and Maci Rose Schweder, and
9Lilyan Kanzler; his siblings, Jack (Anne) Schweder, and Gail
10(John) Powers; and his sister-in-law, Joanne (Schweder)
11Burton; therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
14Theodore D. Schweder, and extend our sincere condolences to his
15family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
16further
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18presented to the family of Theodore Schweder as an expression
19of our deepest sympathy.
