2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Theodore D. Schweder of McHenry, who |
4 | | passed away on January 30, 2017; and
|
5 | | WHEREAS, Theodore Schweder was born to Daniel E. and |
6 | | Aurelia M. (Breivogel) Schweder on July 24, 1935; he married |
7 | | Shirley Diedrichs at Our Lady of Grace in Chicago on November |
8 | | 24, 1956; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, Theodore Schweder was a longtime employee of the |
10 | | Temple Steel Company; he opened his own steel lamination |
11 | | business, PSW Industries, and invested in many McHenry real |
12 | | estate ventures, including retail establishments and apartment |
13 | | complexes; and
|
14 | | WHEREAS, Theodore Schweder enjoyed reading, playing golf, |
15 | | and "doing lunch" with his family and friends; he helped lead |
16 | | many parish fundraisers at St. Patrick Catholic Church, |
17 | | including Town and Country and Montini Bingo; he also was a Cub |
18 | | Scout Leader of Pack 351; and
|
19 | | WHEREAS, Theodore Schweder was preceded in death by his |
20 | | parents; his son, Teddy Schweder Jr.; and his brother, Robert |
21 | | E. Schweder; and
|

1 | | WHEREAS, Theodore Schweder is survived by his wife of 60 |
2 | | years, Shirley; his children, Gary (Cynthia) Schweder, Paul |
3 | | Schweder (Karin Rada), James (Brenda) Schweder, and Lori (Mike) |
4 | | Mazrin; his grandchildren, Gary (Emily) Schweder, Jake |
5 | | (Natosha) Schweder, Sarah (Kyle) Kanzler, Nicki (Rafael) |
6 | | Perez, Joshua Mazrin, Teddy Mazrin, Michael Mazrin, James |
7 | | Schweder, and Liam Schweder; his great-grandchildren, Bella, |
8 | | Maddy, and Lianna Perez, Aurelia and Maci Rose Schweder, and |
9 | | Lilyan Kanzler; his siblings, Jack (Anne) Schweder, and Gail |
10 | | (John) Powers; and his sister-in-law, Joanne (Schweder) |

12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
13 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
14 | | Theodore D. Schweder, and extend our sincere condolences to his |
15 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
16 | | further

18 | | presented to the family of Theodore Schweder as an expression |
