SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2018, as follows:
General Funds $179,913,800
Other State Funds $ 1,269,000
Total $181,182,800

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
Section 5. The sum of $61,600, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Southern Illinois University for any costs associated with the Daily Egyptian Newspaper.
Section 10. The amount of $179,852,200, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019.
Section 15. The sum of $19,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State College and University Trust Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University for scholarship grant awards.
Section 20. The sum of $1,250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Professions Dedicated Fund to the Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University for all costs associated with the development, support or administration of pharmacy practice education or training programs at the Edwardsville campus.
Section 99. Effective Date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2018. Notwithstanding anything in this Act to the contrary, appropriations authorized in this Act shall be used for all costs incurred prior to July 1, 2019.
