| 1 | | AN ACT concerning education.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Public Community College Act is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 3-11 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (110 ILCS 805/3-11) (from Ch. 122, par. 103-11)

| 7 | | Sec. 3-11.
The board of each community college district is |
| 8 | | a body politic
and
corporate by the name of "Board of Trustees |
| 9 | | of Community College District
No. ...., County (or Counties) of |
| 10 | | .... and State of Illinois" or "Board of
Trustees of .... |
| 11 | | (common name of community college), County (or Counties) of
|
| 12 | | ..... and State of Illinois" and by that
name may sue and be |
| 13 | | sued in all courts and places where judicial
proceedings are |
| 14 | | had. The State Board shall issue a number to each community
|
| 15 | | college district, which number may shall be incorporated in the |
| 16 | | name of the
board of that district.
