| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Senior Citizens and Persons with |
| 5 | | Disabilities Property Tax Relief Act is amended by changing |
| 6 | | Section 3.01 as follows:

| 7 | | (320 ILCS 25/3.01) (from Ch. 67 1/2, par. 403.01)

| 8 | | Sec. 3.01. Claimant. "Claimant" means an individual who has |
| 9 | | filed a claim for a property tax relief grant under this Act. |
| 10 | | In appropriate contexts, "claimant" may also include a person |
| 11 | | who
has applied for pharmaceutical assistance under this Act or |
| 12 | | for
other benefits that
that are based on eligibility for |
| 13 | | benefits under
this Act. |
