HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Lt. Kurt Eversman on the 
4occasion of his retirement from the St. Clair County Sheriff's 
5Department on March 2, 2018; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Lt. Eversman's began his career in February of  
71990 and has served the citizens of St. Clair County for 28 
8years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Lt. Eversman rose through the ranks from  sergeant  
10to lieutenant; during his career, he has served as deputy 
11service aide, corrections officer, and patrol
deputy; he
was 
12commander of the St. Clair County Special Response Team, and 
13most recently, served
as the commander of the St. Clair County 
14Drug Tactical Unit; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, There is not a city in St. Clair County that is 
16not appreciative of his services; and
  
 
  
17    WHEREAS,  Lt. Eversman has made a huge impact on his fellow 
18deputies; his humble legacy will carry on with his colleagues; 
19therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE

1HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
2congratulate Lt. Kurt Eversman on his retirement from the St. 
3Clair County Sheriff's Department, and we wish him the best in 
4all his future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Lt. Eversman as a symbol of our respect and 
7esteem.
