2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Clinton | ||||||
4 | J. "Clint" Hornbuckle of Taylorville, who passed away on | ||||||
5 | October 27, 2017; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Clint Hornbuckle was born in Aurora to Greg and | ||||||
7 | Patty (Bell) Hornbuckle on August 27, 1977; he served in the | ||||||
8 | United States Marine Corps from 1995 to 1999 and was recently | ||||||
9 | presented with the U.S. Marine Corps pin; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Clint Hornbuckle worked as a heavy equipment | ||||||
11 | operator, plumber, landscaper, and at the Kroger grocery store | ||||||
12 | in Taylorville; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Clint Hornbuckle was an active member of the | ||||||
14 | Evangelical Free Church in Taylorville; he enjoyed his children | ||||||
15 | and was a loving and devoted father; he loved anything | ||||||
16 | outdoors, especially golf, fishing, hunting, and sports of any | ||||||
17 | kind; his love of wrestling at all levels was his first | ||||||
18 | passion; he wrestled from the age of five all the way through | ||||||
19 | high school, and then went on to coach both young kids and at | ||||||
20 | the junior high level; and
| ||||||
21 | WHEREAS, Clint Hornbuckle was preceded in death by his |

1 | grandparents, George and Judy Bell and his maternal, aunt Betty | ||||||
2 | (Halbesma) Huston; and
| ||||||
3 | WHEREAS, Clint Hornbuckle is survived by his significant | ||||||
4 | other, Kate Graham; his children, Lucas Joseph, and Katie and | ||||||
5 | Erik (mother, Susan Kjaer Hornbuckle); his stepson, Michael | ||||||
6 | Mason; his parents; his sister, Cindy Woods; his brother, Chad | ||||||
7 | (Nena Ferrari) Hornbuckle; his nieces and nephews, Kyle and | ||||||
8 | Cole Woods and Brynn, Grant, and Brock Hornbuckle; his | ||||||
9 | grandparents, Robert and Fern Hornbuckle; and many cousins, | ||||||
10 | aunts, and uncles; therefore, be it

11 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
12 | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
13 | mourn the passing of Clinton J. "Clint" Hornbuckle, and extend | ||||||
14 | our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who | ||||||
15 | knew and loved him; and be it further

16 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
17 | presented to the family of Clint Hornbuckle as an expression of | ||||||
