System (ANS); and

| 6 | | WHEREAS, The ANS is responsible for controlling the |
| 7 | | "automatic" functions of the human body,
including, but not |
| 8 | | limited to, heart rate, blood pressure, and kidney function; |
| 9 | | and

| 10 | | WHEREAS, Various types of Dysautonomia result in the |
| 11 | | inability of the body to regulate these systems
which may lead |
| 12 | | to lightheadedness, fainting, unstable blood pressure, |
| 13 | | abnormal heart rates,
malnutrition, and even in some cases |
| 14 | | death; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Over 70 million people worldwide of all ages, |
| 16 | | gender, and race have some type of
Dysautonomia; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, There is no known cure for Dysautonomia, but |
| 18 | | various groups
including Dysautonomia International continue |
| 19 | | to fund research in the hopes of finding a cure and
treatment |
