Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that a person shall not establish or use a blind or pit for the taking of wild ducks within 100 yards of the boundary of property on which the blind or pit is located without consent from the landowner of the adjacent property. Provides that the provision only applies to property located in Alexander County, Union County, Williamson County, or Jackson County. Effective immediately.

2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by adding Section |
5 | | 2.23-5 as follows: |
6 | | (520 ILCS 5/2.23-5 new) |
7 | | Sec. 2.23-5. Duck blind or pit. A person shall not |
8 | | establish or use a blind or pit for the taking of wild ducks |
9 | | within 100 yards of the boundary of property on which the blind |
10 | | or pit is located without consent from the landowner of the |
11 | | adjacent property. This Section shall only apply to property |
12 | | located in Alexander County, Union County, Williamson County, |
13 | | or Jackson County. |

15 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
16 | | becoming law.
