| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4297 on page 18, by |
| 3 | | inserting immediately below line 13 the following: |
| 4 | | "The report to the General Assembly shall be filed with |
| 5 | | the Clerk of the House of Representatives and the Secretary |
| 6 | | of the Senate in electronic form only, in the manner that |
| 7 | | the Clerk and the Secretary shall direct."; and

| 8 | | on page 51, by replacing lines 10 through 20 with the |
| 9 | | following: |
| 10 | | "(a-8) A person shall not distribute without charge samples |
| 11 | | of any tobacco product to any other person, regardless of age, |
| 12 | | except for smokeless tobacco in an adult-only facility. : |
| 13 | | (1) within a retail establishment selling tobacco |
| 14 | | products, unless the retailer has verified the purchaser's |
| 15 | | age with a government issued identification; |
| 16 | | (2) from a lunch wagon; or |
| 17 | | (3) on a public way as a promotion or advertisement of |
