| 7 | | Sec. 77. Temporary or emergency shelters; exemption from |
| 8 | | civil liability. Any not-for-profit organization in this |
| 9 | | State, or any volunteer, employee, or other person present on |
| 10 | | the property of the organization in the area of the temporary |
| 11 | | or emergency shelter during the time temporary or emergency |
| 12 | | shelter is provided, who in good faith provides temporary or |
| 13 | | emergency shelter without fee for no more than 60 days or |
| 14 | | nights per year to a person experiencing homelessness shall not |
| 15 | | be liable for civil damages as a result of acts or omissions, |
| 16 | | except for gross negligence in providing the temporary or |
