SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Department of Human Rights for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017, as follows:

Federal Funds $ 4,537,800

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
Section 1. The sum of $9,466,700, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Rights for operational expenses of the Department.
Section 5. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Department of Human Rights Training and Development Fund to the Department of Human Rights for the purpose of funding expenses associated with administration.
Section 10. The following named sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated from the Special Projects Division Fund:

For State Contributions to State
Employees' Retirement System.................. 1,284,200
For State Contributions to Social Security....... 181,900
For Group Insurance.............................. 464,000
For Contractual Services......................... 177,000
For Travel........................................ 37,000
For Commodities.................................... 6,800
For Printing....................................... 9,300
For Equipment.......................................... 0
For Telecommunications Services...................... 0
Total $4,537,800
Section 15. The sum of $978,200, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Rights for expenses relating to the investigation and processing of human rights cases, and expenses associated with Elementary and Higher Education processing.
Section 20. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Department of Human Rights Special Fund to the Department of Human Rights for the purpose of filing expenses associated with the Department of Human Rights.
Section 99. Effective Date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2017, if and only if Senate Bill 2063 of the 100th General Assembly (the Unbalanced Budget Response Act), as introduced in the Illinois Senate, becomes law.
