| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections |
| 5 | | 10-20.60 and 34-18.53 as follows:
|

| 7 | | Sec. 10-20.60. Implicit bias training. Each school board |
| 8 | | shall require in-service training for school personnel to |
| 9 | | include training on civil rights and in cultural diversity, |
| 10 | | including racial and ethnic sensitivity and implicit racial |
| 11 | | bias.
