Amends the Eminent Domain Act. Provides that quick-take proceedings may be used for a period of no more than one year after the effective date by Macon County for the acquisition of certain described property for the purpose of the Brush College Road realignment project. Effective immediately.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 25-5-70 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (735 ILCS 30/25-5-70 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 25-5-70. Quick-take; Macon County; Brush College |
| 8 | | Road. Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used for a |
| 9 | | period of no more than one year after the effective date of |
| 10 | | this amendatory Act of the 100th General Assembly by Macon |
| 11 | | County for the acquisition of the following described property |
| 12 | | for the purpose of the Brush College Road realignment project:

| 13 | | The North 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 30, Township 17 |
| 14 | | North, Range 3 East of the Third Principal Meridian, except |
| 15 | | that part of said half-quarter section lying North and West of |
| 16 | | the Easterly right-of-way line of S.B.I. Route 48, also |
| 17 | | excepting that part taken for road right-of-way purposes, and |
| 18 | | also excepting that part contained in Warranty Deed recorded in |
| 19 | | Document 1774390 in Book 3988, Page 740. Situated in Macon |
| 20 | | County, Illinois.
