Amends the School Code. Requires each school district to require that all students in grade 6 receive education on work ethics, including, but not limited to, learning how to be reliable, be professional, take initiative, be positive, respect authority, and have integrity.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section |
| 5 | | 27-20.7 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 27-20.7. Work ethics curriculum. Each school district |
| 8 | | that maintains elementary grades shall require that all |
| 9 | | students in grade 6 receive education on work ethics, |
| 10 | | including, but not limited to, learning how to be reliable, be |
| 11 | | professional, take initiative, be positive, respect authority, |
| 12 | | and have integrity.
