| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Regulatory Sunset Act is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 4.37a as follows:
|
| 6 | | (5 ILCS 80/4.37a new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 4.37a. Act repealed on December 31, 2027. The |
| 8 | | following Act is repealed on December 31, 2027: |
| 9 | | The Medical Practice Act of 1987.

| 11 | | Section 10. The Regulatory Sunset Act is amended by |
| 12 | | repealing Section 4.27a.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
