Appropriates $246,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for a grant to Spring Garden Community Consolidated School District 178 for district consolidation costs and supplemental payments. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $246,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for a grant to Spring Garden Community Consolidated School District 178 for district consolidation costs and supplemental payments to the school district pursuant to the School Code for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2016.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
