| 1 | | AN ACT concerning agriculture.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Insect Pest and Plant Disease Act is amended |
| 5 | | by changing Section 16 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (505 ILCS 90/16) (from Ch. 5, par. 76)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 16. Pest and plant disease inspection. Any |
| 8 | | municipality, park board, or other board or person in control
|
| 9 | | of public grounds may apply to the Department for an
inspection |
| 10 | | of the same with reference to the presence of insect pests or
|
| 11 | | plant diseases; and upon receipt of such application, or as |
| 12 | | soon thereafter
as may be conveniently practicable, the |
| 13 | | Department shall review the application and may comply with it |
| 14 | | as deemed appropriate the Department shall
comply with such |
| 15 | | request, and send to such applicant a statement as to the
facts |
| 16 | | disclosed, with any recommendations which the Department may |
| 17 | | deem pertinent.
