| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3044 on page 2, by |
| 3 | | replacing lines 2 through 5 with the following:

| 4 | | "wage schedule for each county in the State, no later than |
| 5 | | August 15 of each year, based on the prevailing rate of wages |
| 6 | | investigated and ascertained by the Department during the month |
| 7 | | of June. Nothing prohibits the Department from publishing |
| 8 | | prevailing wage rates more than once per year."; and

| 9 | | on page 5, by inserting immediately below line 10 the |
| 10 | | following:

| 11 | | "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 12 | | becoming law.".
