Appropriates $13,000,000 from the Commerce and Community Affairs Assistance Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for grants, contracts, and administrative expenses of the Business Assistance Office. Effective July 1, 2017.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity:
OFFICE OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP, INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY
GRANTS
Payable from the Commerce and Community Affairs
Assistance Fund:
For Grants, Contracts, and Administrative
Expenses Pursuant to 20 ILCS 605/
605-500, including prior year costs.......... 13,000,000
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2017.
