Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that subject to federal approval, no person who is an undocumented immigrant shall qualify for any benefits or assistance provided under the Code, including, but not limited to, any benefits or assistance provided under the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, the Child Care Assistance Program, the Children's Health Insurance Program, the Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance program, the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program, and the medical assistance program. Effective immediately.

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by |
5 | | adding Section 12-4.50 as follows: |

7 | | Sec. 12-4.50. Undocumented immigrants. Subject to federal |
8 | | approval, no person who is an undocumented immigrant shall |
9 | | qualify for any benefits or assistance provided under this |
10 | | Code, including, but not limited to, any benefits or assistance |
11 | | provided under the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance |
12 | | Program, the Child Care Assistance Program, the Children's |
13 | | Health Insurance Program, the Covering ALL KIDS Health |
14 | | Insurance program, the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families |
15 | | program, and the medical assistance program.

16 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
17 | | becoming law.
