Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the University of Illinois Hospital Act and Hospital Licensing Act. Provides that no hospital may maintain a list of individuals that may not be admitted for treatment at the hospital.

House Floor Amendment No. 2
Provides that nothing in language concerning a prohibition on hospitals maintaining a list of individuals that may not be treated shall be construed to prohibit a hospital or a member of the hospital's medical staff from recommending an alternate provider, coordinating an appropriate transfer, or arranging access to care services that best meets the needs of an individual patient.
