Synopsis As Introduced
Proposes, under Article V, Section 11 of the Illinois Constitution, to change the name of the Executive Mansion to the Governor's Mansion on July 1, 2018. Contains provisions regarding: inconsistent laws; savings; prior executive orders; severability; filings; and other matters. Provides that, if neither house of the General Assembly disapproves the Executive Order, the Executive Order takes effect 60 days after its delivery to the General Assembly.
