AN ACT concerning State government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The Department of Commerce and Economic |
Opportunity Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is |
amended by adding Section 605-1010 as follows:

Sec. 605-1010. Agricultural Tourism. To bolster rural |
economies in Illinois, subject to appropriation, the |
Department shall develop and implement a statewide strategic |
plan to increase agricultural tourism. The strategic plan shall |
explore the promotion of agricultural tourism through access to |
hotel and motel taxes and the use of websites, brochures, and |
broadcast advertising.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
becoming law.
