AN ACT concerning transportation.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the |
Milwaukee Avenue Polish Heritage Corridor Act.
|
Section 5. Milwaukee Avenue Polish Heritage Corridor. That |
part of Illinois Route 21, otherwise known as Milwaukee |
Avenue, that begins at Sangamon Street in Chicago and ends |
with Greenwood Road in the Village of Niles is designated as |
the Milwaukee Avenue Polish Heritage Corridor. Appropriate |
plaques may be erected by the Department of Transportation |
along this route in recognition of the designation.
