AN ACT concerning education.
|
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
represented in the General Assembly:
|
Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section |
27-23.13 as follows:

(105 ILCS 5/27-23.13 new) |
Sec. 27-23.13. Hunting safety. A school district may offer |
its students a course on hunting safety as part of its |
curriculum during the school day or as part of an after-school |
program. The State Board of Education may prepare and make |
available to school boards resources on hunting safety that may |
be used as guidelines for the development of a course under |
this Section.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
2019.
