Sec. 4.
The Illinois Commerce Commission shall investigate and ascertain
whether the provisions of this act are violated by any railroad
corporation. Whenever the facts warrant prosecution, the commission shall
immediately cause suits to be commenced and prosecuted against any railroad
corporation which has violated the provisions of this act. Actions may be
instituted in any county through or into which the line of the corporation
extends. Actions so commenced shall not be dismissed unless the commission
and the attorney general shall consent thereto.
