(30 ILCS 105/6z-30) Sec. 6z-30. University of Illinois Hospital Services Fund. (a) The University of Illinois Hospital Services Fund is created as a
special fund in the State Treasury. The following moneys shall be deposited
into the Fund: (1) (Blank). (1.5) (Blank). (1.7) (Blank). (1.8) Starting in fiscal year 2022, at the direction of and upon notification from |
| the Director of Healthcare and Family Services, the State Comptroller shall direct and the State Treasurer shall transfer an amount of at least $20,000,000 but not exceeding a total of $55,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the University of Illinois Hospital Services Fund in each fiscal year.

(2) All intergovernmental transfer payments to the Department of Healthcare and Family
|
| Services by the University of Illinois made pursuant to an intergovernmental agreement under subsection (b) or (c) of Section 5A-3 of the Illinois Public Aid Code.
|
|
(3) All federal matching funds received by the Department of Healthcare and Family
|
| Services (formerly Illinois Department of Public Aid) as a result of expenditures made by the Department that are attributable to moneys that were deposited in the Fund.

|
(4) All other moneys received for the Fund from any other source, including interest
|
|
(b) Moneys in the fund may be used by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services,
subject to appropriation and to an interagency agreement between that Department and the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, to reimburse the University of Illinois Hospital for
hospital and pharmacy services, to reimburse practitioners who are employed by the University of Illinois, to reimburse other health care facilities and health plans operated by the University of Illinois, and to pass through to the University of Illinois federal financial participation earned by the State as a result of expenditures made by the University of Illinois.
