| 4 | | "Section 5. The Procurement of Domestic Products Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 35 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 35. North American-made vehicles. All motor
vehicles |
| 8 | | purchased or leased for one year or more by a State agency, on |
| 9 | | or
after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 99th

| 10 | | General Assembly, shall have a Vehicle Identification Number
|
| 11 | | that begins with the number one, the number 2, the number 4, or
|
| 12 | | the number 5. Nothing in this Section shall require a State
|
| 13 | | agency to stop using any vehicle that exists in the State fleet
|
| 14 | | of motor vehicles on the effective date of this amendatory Act
|
| 15 | | of the 99th General Assembly.
