| 1 | HOUSE RESOLUTION | ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to commend Deepa Ajmire on her dedicated | ||||||
| 4 | service to the Aptakisic-Tripp Community Consolidated School | ||||||
| 5 | District (CCSD) 102 Board of Education for the past four | ||||||
| 6 | years; and | ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Deepa Ajmire served the Aptakisic-Tripp CCSD 102 | ||||||
| 8 | Board of Education as a member of the Calendar Committee and | ||||||
| 9 | the Wellness Committee; and | ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Deepa Ajmire worked alongside fellow board | ||||||
| 11 | members and the school administration of Aptakisic-Tripp CCSD | ||||||
| 12 | 102 to educate the community and provide input to successfully | ||||||
| 13 | pass a facilities referendum and participated in the Learning | ||||||
| 14 | Vision Into Action (LVIA) strategic planning for the school | ||||||
| 15 | district; and | ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Deepa Ajmire facilitated the transition of | ||||||
| 17 | leadership roles within Aptakisic-Tripp CCSD 102, including | ||||||
| 18 | superintendent, assistant superintendent, and chief school | ||||||
| 19 | business official, and successfully negotiated a new | ||||||
| 20 | collective bargaining agreement; and | ||||||
| 21 | WHEREAS, Deepa Ajmire demonstrated a strong and unwavering | ||||||

| |||||||
| 1 | commitment to the safety and well-being of students and staff | ||||||
| 2 | and played an integral part in making sure the Aptakisic-Tripp | ||||||
| 3 | CCSD 102 Board of Education was culturally sensitive to the | ||||||
| 4 | needs of all students, staff, and others; and | ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Deepa Ajmire wished the graduating eighth graders | ||||||
| 6 | of Aptakisic-Tripp CCSD 102 well with inspirational, heartfelt | ||||||
| 7 | words; and | ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Deepa Ajmire, as part of her duties to the | ||||||
| 9 | Aptakisic-Tripp CCSD 102 Board of Education, annually attended | ||||||
| 10 | the Triple I Conference in Chicago to advance her knowledge | ||||||
| 11 | and connections with other board members and administration; | ||||||
| 12 | therefore, be it | ||||||
| 13 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 14 | HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 15 | we commend Deepa Ajmire on her dedicated service as a member of | ||||||
| 16 | the Aptakisic-Tripp Community Consolidated School District | ||||||
| 17 | (CCSD) 102 Board of Education for the past four years and | ||||||
| 18 | express our gratitude for her valiant service as an elected | ||||||
| 19 | public official; and be it further | ||||||
| 20 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 21 | presented to Deepa Ajmire as a symbol of our esteem and | ||||||
| 22 | respect. | ||||||
