SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 


    Appropriates $1,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois for the purpose of funding the operational and capacity building needs of nonprofits in Winnebago County. Effective July 1, 2025.

1    AN ACT concerning appropriations.
  
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The amount of $1,000,000, or so much of that 
5amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General 
6Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic 
7Opportunity for a grant to the Community Foundation of 
8Northern Illinois for the purpose of funding the operational 
9and capacity building needs of nonprofits in Winnebago County.
 
10    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 
112025.
