AN ACT concerning finance.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by changing Section 33-15 as follows:

(30 ILCS 500/33-15)

Sec. 33-15. Public notice. Whenever a project requiring construction management services is proposed for a State agency, the Board shall provide no less than a 14-day advance notice published in the procurement bulletin a request for proposals setting forth the projects and services to be procured. The bulletin shall be available electronically and may be available in print. The bulletin shall include a description of each project and shall state the time and place for interested firms to submit a letter of interest, and, if required by the public notice, a statement of qualifications. The request for proposals shall be mailed to each firm that is prequalified under Section 33-10. Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
