KURTZ-FRANKS. 25 ILCS 120/5.5 new Amends the Compensation Review Act. Provides that for the first 2 years of the term of office beginning in January of 2003, the annual compensation of each elected executive branch officer and each General Assembly member shall be an amount 2% less than the rate of compensation for that office on December 15, 2001. Prohibits cost-of-living increases in their compensation during the 2 years. Effective immediately.
