WELCH.

   35 ILCS 200/15-175                                                          

        Amends  the  Property  Tax  Code.   Provides  that  the   maximum      
   reduction  for  the general homestead exemption shall be $4,500 in all      
   counties (now $4,500 in counties with 3,000,000  or  more  inhabitants      
   and $3,500 in all other counties).
