LEITCH-SOMMER. 225 ILCS 60/18.1 new Amends the Medical Practice Act of 1987. Creates a faculty permit that authorizes the holder to practice medicine only within the medical school itself and any affiliated institution in which the permit holder is providing instruction as part of the medical school's educational program and for which the medical school has assumed direct responsibility. Provides qualifications and application guidelines for a faculty permit.
