(MAITLAND) 625 ILCS 5/15-101 from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 15-101 Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to make a technical correction to the Section concerned with the scope of Chapter 15. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 625 ILCS 5/15-101 Adds reference to: 625 ILCS 5/15-301 from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 15-301 625 ILCS 5/15-308.2 new Deletes everything. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to provide that the Department of Transportation and local authorities, in their discretion and upon application in writing, may issue a special permit authorizing the applicant to operate a tow-truck that exceeds the requisite weight limits provided specified criteria are met. Provides that the fee for the special permit is $500 for a quarterly permit and $2000 for an annual permit. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.
