SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Shirley Jane Teetsov of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on April 15, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Shirley Teetsov was born in Harvard to Burtic
6Dewey and Gertrude (Whaples) Deithloff on February 18, 1935;
7and
 
8    WHEREAS, Shirley Teetsov worked as a telephone operator at
9Bell and as a seamstress at the Strand Dress factory in
10Woodstock; she was also an answering service operator and
11customer service representative for the Speiss Company; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Shirley Teetsov was a member of the MC3 McHenry
13County Computer Club, where she served as secretary for several
14years; she enjoyed traveling and made several cross country
15trips with her husband; she loved to garden and had a creative
16mind that inspired her when she crocheted, knitted, sewed, and
17painted; she loved using the computer to communicate with
18friends and family across the country; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Shirley Teetsov was preceded in death by her
20parents; her uncle, Evert Whaples; and her grandparents,
21Elizabeth and Loren Putnam; and

1    WHEREAS, Shirley Teetsov is survived by her husband of 62
2years, Jack; her daughters, Lee Anne (Ralph Clatterbuck)
3Fredericks and Susan Marie (Steven) Wegner; and her cat, Mia;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Shirley Jane Teetsov and extend our sincere condolences to her
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Shirley Teetsov as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
