HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Anita Jo 
4Grace of Olive Branch, who passed away on May 15, 2014; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Anita Grace was born on September 18, 1961 to 
6Leland and Mary Jo (nee Collins) McKee; she married Walter 
7Grace on February 14, 1981; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Anita Grace was an outstanding member of the 
9business and education communities; she was branch president of 
10the First National Bank in Cairo, where she had been employed 
11for the past 27 years; she served on the boards of directors 
12for numerous community organizations: the Olive Branch Area 
13Community Development Corporation, the Olive Branch Cemetery 
14Association, and the Dodge Memorial Library; she was also a 
15member of the Cairo Rotary Club; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Anita Grace was a member of the Alexander Free 
17Will Baptist Church; and
  
 
  
18    WHEREAS, Anita Grace is survived by her husband, Walt; her 
19mother, Mary Jo McKee; a daughter, Lesley; a son, Justin 
20(Jessica); a granddaughter, Natalie; a sister, Rhonda Sue 
21Stokes (Terry Hunt); 2 brothers, Jerry Leland (Georgia) McKee

1and Michael Lee McKee; a sister-in-law, Dr. Linda Grace; and 
2several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
4NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
5we mourn the passing of Anita Jo Grace, and extend our sincere 
6condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
7her; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of Anita Grace as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
