SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Brenda Mae Bostic of Danville, who passed
4away on October 17, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Brenda Bostic was born June 27, 1944, in Danville;
6her parents were Herman Walter and Agnes Kiel Kienietz; she
7married Charles Bostic on September 3, 1966, at Bethel Lutheran
8Church; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Brenda Bostic served as the Danville Township
10Clerk and had been employed in the Vermilion County Circuit
11Clerk's Office for 15 years; she was employed as manager of the
12Secretary of State's Tilton Driver Services Facility at the
13time of her passing; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Brenda Bostic was a lifelong member of Bethel
15Lutheran Church and an active participant with the Vermilion
16County Democrats; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Brenda Bostic enjoyed being involved in the
18activities of her children and grandchildren, and playing
19euchre and Scrabble; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Brenda Bostic was preceded in death by her father,

1mother, and stepmother, Opal (Miller) Kienietz; her brother,
2Robert Lee Kienietz; and her stepbrother, Ronald Mietzler; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Brenda Bostic is survived by her husband, Charles;
4her daughters, Michelle (Tim) Snelson and Melinda (Mark)
5Potter; her sister, June Young; her stepsister, Peggy
6Pannbacker; her grandchildren, Trent and Taylor Snelson and
7Morgan and Meredith Potter; and her many nieces and nephews;
8therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
11her family and friends, the passing of Brenda Mae Bostic; and
12be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Brenda Bostic as an expression of
15our sympathy.
