SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Charles E. "Chuck" Pastore of Lockport,
4who passed away on October 4, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born in Joliet and lived in Lockport most
6of his life; he was retired from the Lockport Township Fire
7District after 35 years of service; and
 
8    WHEREAS, He was the owner of C. Pastore and Sons Plumbing;
9he was a member of St. Dennis Church and was a Eucharistic
10Minister for many years; he was also active in the Men's Club
11and the Art and Environment Committee; and
 
12    WHEREAS, He was an avid golfer and one of the first members
13of the Lockport Golf and Recreation Club; he was also an avid
14fisherman and hunter; and he served as Lockport Township
15Precinct Committeeman; and
 
16    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles
17and Shirley (Onderisin) Pastore; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Charles Pastore is survived by his loving and
19devoted wife of 48 years, Linda (Murphy); his children, Charles
20"Skip" (Ann Marie) and Kevin (Jenna); his grandchildren,

1Samantha, Abbey, Tyler, and Nick; his brothers, John "Jack"
2(Patti), James (Cindy), and Gerry (Kim); his sister, Suann
3(Ray) Daker; and his special friends, Jack and Donna Ivezich;
4he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins;
5therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
8his family and friends, the passing of Charles Pastore; and be
9it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Charles E. "Chuck" Pastore as a
12symbol of our sincere sympathy.
