SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Richard J. "Dick" White Sr., of Gurnee,
4 who passed away on March 23, 2009; and
 
5     WHEREAS, He was born November 2, 1934 in Waukegan; he was a
6 member and usher at St. Patrick's Church and enjoyed serving as
7 a Cub Scout leader and Little League coach for many years; and
 
8     WHEREAS, He served in the United States Army; he retired
9 from Commonwealth Edison after 38 years of service; he enjoyed
10 his hobbies of metal detecting and fishing; and
 
11     WHEREAS, Richard White was preceded in death by his
12 parents, Robert and Mary White; his sister-in-law, Barbara
13 White; and his brother-in-law, Elmer Fallos; and
 
14     WHEREAS, He was a beloved husband of Ann of 52 years; the
15 loving father of Richard (Carolyn) Jr., Daniel (Laurel), James
16 (Therese), Katherine (David) Lagerstrom, and Teresa (David)
17 Cascarano; the loving grandfather of James (Jamie), Dana
18 (Stefan), Jeffery (Kristina), Jason, Benjamin, Erin, Emily,
19 Sarah, Colin, Zachary, Carl, and Hannah; the dear brother of
20 Robert White and Marylinda (Brian) Snow; his dear-in-laws are
21 Joyce Fallos and John (Sandy) McClure; in addition he is

1 survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and he loved his
2 beloved dogs, Molly and Maggie; therefore, be it
 
3     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
4 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
5 his family and friends, the passing of Richard J. White Sr.;
6 and be it further
 
7     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8 presented to the family of Richard J. White Sr. as a symbol of
9 our sincere sympathy.
