SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Fran J. Aulabaugh of Virden, who passed
4 away on January 27, 2009; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Fran Aulabaugh was born on January 23, 1934 in
6 Swansea; she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel
7 Mahan Sharpe; she married Charles Joslin in 1952; he preceded
8 her in death; she married Edmund R. Moore in North Carolina in
9 1958; he preceded her in death; she then married James
10 Aulabaugh in Carlinville on April 14, 1978; he also preceded
11 her in death; and
 
12     WHEREAS, Fran Aulabaugh was a homemaker; she was a member
13 of the Women of the Moose, Elks, the VFW, and the American
14 Legion Auxiliary; and
 
15     WHEREAS, Fran Aulabaugh is survived by her sons and
16 daughters-in-law, Charles Michael and Sandra L. Joslin, James
17 Terrell and Terri Joslin, Phil Joseph and Carol Moore, and
18 Jeffrey Stuart Moore; her step-daughters: Kathleen Caroline
19 Secrist and Mary Angeline Heyen; her seven grandchildren and
20 seven great-grandchildren; her brothers, T.C. Sharpe, Bob
21 Sharpe, Gene Sharpe, and Leon Sharpe; her sisters, Louise
22 Ulmer, Sarah Mochel, Shirley Herlong, and Betty Pound; and

1 several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
2     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
3 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
4 her family and friends, the passing of Fran J. Aulabaugh; and
5 be it further
 
6     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to the family of Fran Aulabaugh as an expression of
8 our sympathy.
