 1        AN ACT in relation to economic development.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.   The Economic Development Area Tax Increment
 5    Allocation Act is amended by changing Section 1 as follows:

 6        (20 ILCS 620/1) (from Ch. 67 1/2, par. 1001)
 7        Sec. 1. Short title. This Act shall be known and  may  be
 8    cited   as   the  Economic  Development  Area  Tax  Increment
 9    Allocation Act.
