SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Dudley B. Trone of Moline, who passed
4away on October 27, 2023; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dudley Trone was born to Perry A. and Harriet A.
6(Howard) Trone in Moline on May 6, 1945; he married Melody L.
7Karns in Moline on November 3, 1989; he served in the U.S. Army
8in Vietnam, where he received the Bronze Star Medal with "V"
9Device; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Dudley Trone worked for MidAmerican Energy, where
11he retired from the IT department; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Dudley Trone was a member of Cornerstone
13Christian Fellowship; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Dudley Trone was an outstanding, all-around
15athlete known for his great sense of humor; above all, he loved
16spending time with his family; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Dudley Trone was preceded in death by his
18parents; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Dudley Trone is survived by his wife of 34 years;

1his children, Kirsten (Kevin) Kirkbride and Terry (Brea
2Larson) Trone; his grandchildren, Keelyandra (Austin Eastman)
3Kirkbride and Konnor Kirkbride; and the mother of his
4children, Sonja Trowbridge; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Dudley B. Trone and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Dudley Trone as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
