SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John Doyle, who passed away on August 24,
42019 at the age of 92; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Doyle was born on February 21, 1927 in
6Chicago; and
 
7    WHEREAS, John Doyle was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in
8World War II; after his service, he worked for the T.H. Ryan
9Cartage Company until he retired in 1990; and
 
10    WHEREAS, John Doyle was the loving husband of the late
11Ellen H. Doyle and the loving companion of the late Dorothy
12Deaton; and
 
13    WHEREAS, John Doyle was father to Brian, Tom (Liz Clary),
14the late Steven (Ampa), Michael, Terrence, and John;
15grandfather to Jason, Conor (Sara Kane), Liam (Jodi), Kiel, and
16Rory (Alexsandra) Doyle; and great-grandfather to six; and
 
17    WHEREAS, John Doyle was brother to Dennis (the late
18Florence) Doyle, Margaret (Maurice) Andaya, Rosemary (Dennis)
19Dresen, the late Donald (the late Marilyn) Doyle, Gerald (the
20late Helen) Doyle, and Dolores (the late Robert) Padula; and

1    WHEREAS, John Doyle is survived by many loving family
2members; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5John Doyle and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
6friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of John Doyle as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
