SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Jessie Vinke Ten Pas of Waukegan, who
4passed away on November 27, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jessie Vinke Ten Pas was born in Chicago to
6Garrett and Louise Juerke on July 15, 1933; she graduated from
7Harper High School in Chicago and attended Christian Bible
8College in Springfield, Missouri; she married Lawrence V. Ten
9Pas at Redeemer Luther Church in Chicago on December 2, 1956;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Jessie Vinke Ten Pas loved being a homemaker,
12cooking, and decorating; she enjoyed visiting Mt. Rainier,
13studying her Bible, and hosting house parties; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Jessie Vinke Ten Pas is survived by her husband,
15Lawrence; her children, Janet Ten Pas Harper, Lawrie (William)
16Music, and Lawrence J. (Amy) Ten Pas; her grandchildren, Kelly
17Bailey, Kaitlyn Music-Mix, Stephanie Music, Hanna TenPas, Joel
18TenPas, and David TenPas; and her great-grandchildren, Harper
19Mix and David Bailey; therefore, be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
21ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

2family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
